Introduction
Vodafone Foundation (“we”, “us”, or “our”) provides Vodafone Foundation’s DIY Foundational Skills Platform (the “Platform”). Vodafone Foundation is an independent UK-registered charity (charity number 1089625) committed to improving access to quality education through technology and social innovation.
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the “Platform”. By using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as any referenced policies, including our Privacy Notice.
Definitions
- Platform: Vodafone Foundation’s DIY Foundational Skills Platform and associated services.
- User: any individual accessing or using the Platform.
- Content: all materials provided by Vodafone Foundation on the Platform.
- Personal Data: information relating to an identified or identifiable individual.
- Programme Monitoring & Evaluation: pseudonymised analysis to understand programme reach, effectiveness, and impact.
Using the Platform
You may use the Platform only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws. You must provide accurate information when creating an account (where applicable) and keep your login credentials secure.
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable licence to use the Platform for your own learning purposes.
Ownership of Content
All content—including videos, text, graphics, assessments, and other resources—is owned by the Vodafone Foundation or its licensors. All rights are reserved.
You may not reproduce, redistribute, modify, publicly display, or create derivative works without prior written permission.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Share your password or give others access to your account;
- Attempt to access another user’s account or data;
- Interfere with or compromise Platform security;
- Upload malware or harmful code;
- Upload unlawful, abusive, or infringing content;
- Engage in behaviour that disrupts learning for others.
We may suspend or disable accounts that violate these Terms.
Platform Availability and Updates
We may update or improve the Platform at any time. While we aim to provide reliable access, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. However, no online system is completely secure. Notify us immediately of unauthorised account use.
Third-Party Content and Links
The Platform may include links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the accuracy or safety of third-party content.

The Platform and its content are provided for educational purposes on an “as is” basis. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Your sole remedy is to stop using the Platform.
Termination and Suspension
We may restrict or terminate access if you breach these Terms or pose a security risk. You may stop using the Platform at any time.
